fire sprinkler system is an active fire protection method, consisting of a water supply system, providing adequate pressure and flowrate to a water distribution piping system, onto which fire sprinklers are connected. Fire sprinkler is fitted at the end of pipeline to spray water for extinguishing or suppressing the fire.
A pendent sprinkler protrudes and hangs down from the ceiling. It comes with a water deflector at the bottom, so water coming out of the orifice shoots downward. Pendent sprinkle is widely used in office or home buildings.
An upright sprinkler is installed at the top with an upper water deflector, so water coming out of the orifice shoots upward. Upright sprinkler is suited for areas that are difficult to access, like beams, ducts, and buildings with exposed ceilings.
Concealed sprinkler at standard and quick response is decorative sprinkler featuring a flat cover plate designed to conceal the sprinkler for aesthetical benefit. When exposed to heat from a fire, the cover plate falls away and the Deflector drops down to its operational position to work as similar pendent sprinkler
A sidewall sprinkler is installed on the wall along or under a beam with only half of a deflector, so water coming out of the orifice shoots horizontally. Sidewall sprinkler is designed to protect small rooms, hallways, and others where sprinkler pipes are running up walls but not in the ceiling.
